Feng Shui and The Year Of The Fire Rooster: An Evening with Deanna Cohen

Jan 27 2017 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm

image2-2Feng Shui is the ancient art of arranging your environment to be in harmony with the naturally occurring life force energies in nature. By observing nature and the things that occur in it, and also observing the elements that disturb these occurrences, Feng Shui can remedy these disturbances and allow what is occurring to flourish. It is the best tool to use in order to maximize the potential of the environment around us so that it is incredibly healthy and prosperous. By placing the individual into better harmony with the environment and the elements of nature, a person’s destiny and opportunities are enhanced.

The Classical methods of Feng Shui have the resources and ability to give accurate information on how to do this. Feng Shui is a metaphysical science involving the seen, and more importantly the unseen life force energy on the planet. It is how nature comes together in a way to create a peaceful and completely healing and calming environment.

Deanna Cohen will be giving a broad overview of the principles of Classical Feng Shui, as well as addressing the upcoming Year of the Rooster energy patterns as they apply to our personal and international relationships, our health, the economy and politics.

image1-2Deanna has a background in Classical Feng Shui and its various systems such as the Xuan Kong Flying Star School, the Form School, and the Compass School.  She is the Feng Shui consultant for numerous businesses, estates, and homes in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Montecito. Over the years she has been a realtor in Montecito and Santa Barbara at Sotheby’s International Realty, and has a professional grasp of our local circumstances with its various strengths and weaknesses.

Awakening Planetary Energies with Orion Hawthorne

Feb 9 2017 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Orion Hawthorne will guide us through an evening of consciousness expanding archetypal embodiment awakening us to the planetary energies within us. In his new book Doorways to Awakening, Orion illuminates the energies of each of the planets as doorways to the expansion of consciousness.

Archetypes assist us in looking at our lives from a much larger, more mythic and spiritually expansive perspective than our ordinary day-to-day view of reality. Each doorway is related to a planetary archetype. Is your primary Doorway to Awakening related to:

* the Moon – path of Devotion, Bhakti

* Venus – path of the Senses, Raj Yoga

* Saturn – path of the Body, Hatha Yoga

* Mars – path of the Will, Shakti Kundalini

* Mercury – path of the Intellect, Gyan Yoga

* Jupiter – path of Selfless Service, Karma Yoga

* Rahu/Ketu – path of the Iconoclastic Rebel, Tantra

* Sun – some of each of the above, Surya Yoga

By becoming aware of each of these energies and how they express themselves we can raise them to their highest vibration and bring balance and harmony to all aspects of our lives.

Join Us for a consciousness expanding evening as we explore these energies.
